Two great semi final wins for The Saints on Sunday with both teams progressing to the preliminary final against the North Shore Tigers.
Surprisingly The Tigers were well beaten by University in both grades in the other semi. Despite this result The Tigers have convincingly won both our encounters this season and will be out for revenge after their narrow lose to the Saints in last years preliminary final. Both games should be cracking encounters as finals usually are between the clubs with many close results over the years.
The Saints will need to be at their best in both grades with the best possible preparation in order to progress beyond this Sunday’s game.

THIS WEEKS GAME
AS MENTIONED ABOVE BOTH TEAMS PLAY THE TIGERS AT ONEPOTO DOMAIN.
A map of the grounds location is in our downloads section of the web site. We have played at Onepoto twice this season so no excuses for latecomers.

The games are at their usual times, senior’s 2pm and reserves 12.30pm.
Seniors players are to be at the ground at 1pm (at the latest).
Reserve players are to be at the ground at 11.45am (at the latest).

BEST WISHES LIAM
We wish Liam Ackland all the best at he heads over to the AIS in Canberra to participate in the AFL draft camp this week. Liam has been in fantastic form over the past three games being in the best two players and being amongst our leading goal scorers. Unfortunately for The Saints he will miss the preliminary final this Sunday. Lets hope we can do the right thing by Liam and give him the opportunity to play in the Grand Final the following week.

CONGRATULATIONS ALYSE
Congratulations to our club Physio Alyse Cameron who recently completed her physiotherapy exams top of her class. Well done Alyse it’s great having you on board and our players getting the best quality injury treatment.
Alyse has just started work at SPORT AND SPINAL IN SWANSON PH 0800-427-497.
We encourage all Saints players to continue their physiotherapy treatments with Alyse.

The club is very fortunate to not only have Alyse but also DAVE KAY AND DISCOVER CHIROPRACTIC (please refer to the left hand side of our web site for further details) and DR BEN JANSEN involved with the club. It means we are able to offer the best possible treatment should any player be injured.
